With its refined, mountain bike specific design, the Shimano CS-M7100 SLX 12-Speed Cassette aids the dedicated rider to find the ideal cadence across the most challenging off-road terrain.
The twelve Hyperglide sprockets offer a wide range of gear ratios with close spacing to ensure that any topography can be conquered. Micro Spline freehub compatibility allows a 10-tooth smallest sprocket to be used, giving a generous top gear for fast descents, while the largest sprocket is perfect for challenging climbs.
The profile of the sprockets results in contoured shift gates that grant smooth, crisp gear changes, even under load. All of the sprockets are cut away and drilled to reduce weight but are mounted onto a lightweight Beam Spider carrier to increase rigidity, strength and power transfer to the rear wheel.
